Roofing tissue is mainly used as substrates for water-proof roofing materials. It is characterized by high tensile strength, corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, water resistance, high porosity and easy saturation by bitumen. The longitudinal strength and tear resistance can be improved further by incorporating reinforcements into the tissue across its whole width. Perforated tissue is also available when the mat comes out from a particular punch process. Felt such as low-temperature cracking, high-temperature melting, liable to aging, rotting and leaking. Other advantages with this tissue substrate roofing are high strength, excellent life time.
