Compound Scrim is reinforced polyester mat or glass fiber mat with outer mesh, which is mainly used as substrates for water-proof roofing materials. It is characterized by corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, high tensile strength, water resistance, high porosity and easy saturation by bitumen. The longitudinal strength and tear resistance can be improved further by incorporating reinforcements into the mat across its whole width. Felt such as low-temperature cracking, high-temperature melting, liable to aging, rotting and leaking.
