Compound Base is made of recycled fabric materials and fiberglass mesh. Fiberglass mesh is enforced to recycled fabric together, which aims at increasing tensile strength.
Mainly used as substrates for water-proof roofing materials. It is characterized by corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, high tensile strength, water resistance, high porosity and easy saturation by bitumen.
1. An ideal substrate material for asphalt roofing rolls and shingles.
2. Act as the lining for roof insulation layers to protect polymer foam insulation from the damaging effect caused by chemical solvents in bitumen so as to prolong the lifetime of heat insulation layer.
